Easy date and time conversion between Gregorian and Ethiopian Calendar. It also shows real time in Ethiopia on a widget sticker on home screen.
Ethiopian Calendar has 13 months (12 months of 30 days each and 1 month of 5 days). It has about 7 years and 4 month’s difference with Gregorian calendar. In Ethiopia new year starts in September 11 or 12 (Meskerem 1). Meskerem is a month of transition between rainy season and summer. Ethiopian time writing is also different; a new day starts at dawn (Just before new sunrise in the morning), 6:00AM in Gregorian is 12:00 morning in Ethiopia. So in local writing format there is always 6 hours difference.
